When Don Merlot came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the SSV Ulm 1846 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Don Merlot couldn't finish the play. SSV Ulm 1846's Kryspin Cupial proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save SSV Ulm 1846 from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute WİLDHUNTER FC were awarded a corner. Dênis Sabóia went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Mehmet Bilge Başayoğlu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 18th minute, Don Merlot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSV Ulm 1846 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Halis Çokay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Kryspin Cupial when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 25 minutes into the game, Halis Çokay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kryspin Cupial. Halis Çokay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 29th minute Richard do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Cupial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind WİLDHUNTER FC's goalkeeper Tommy Salcedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the WİLDHUNTER FC defense, Don Merlot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Salcedo. The WİLDHUNTER FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Salcedo should have stopped the shot. SSV Ulm 1846's Don Merlot got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. WİLDHUNTER FC's Tommy Salcedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Merlot in the 40th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard do Valle was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, WİLDHUNTER FC's goal looked a bit too open when Don Merlot came free, but Tommy Salcedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kryspin Cupial had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Dênis Sabóia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sven-Olof Lilja hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. SSV Ulm 1846's Primitivo Jerano was substituted for Jose Ramon Talcao. In the 82nd minute, Sven-Olof Lilja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Don Merlot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SSV Ulm 1846 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
