Juan-Carlos Cervantes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Åke Galle in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paredes Soberano saved Leripe Lifestyle from getting behind. After 21 minutes Leripe Lifestyle's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nils Mikaelsson who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute, Sigvard Qvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durvalino Penha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vilhelm Brander came out and tried to block the shot, but Durvalino Penha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. With an all-out effort, Leripe Lifestyle's Vilhelm Brander threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan-Carlos Cervantes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 29 minutes into the match, Kronan's goalkeeper Vilhelm Brander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardinho Passos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardinho Passos got free with Vilhelm Brander in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Åke Galle was the one to do the kick off. Per-Åke Galle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Paredes Soberano made a huge save. 56 minutes in the game Romulo Tarin did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Basílio Martins.
