With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Pirani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Tales Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno-Henrique Orange. With a little luck, Castanheiro SC's Tales Brito got control of the ball when Bruno-Henrique Orange tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Aldair Orange went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Aldair Orange got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tales Brito quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robben Spoelberchs in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Casemiro Orange got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Castanheiro SC's Fernando Toscano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edinho Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Sanches in the 29th minute of play. Edinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Sanches in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Robben Spoelberchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tales Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Reis in the 39th minute of play. Edinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Sanches in the 41st minute of the match. Tales Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zico Orange in the 46th minute. After the first half Castanheiro SC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zico Orange to strike the kick off in the second half. Castanheiro SC made a substitution. 陶渊伟 replaced José Pedro Carneiro. 64 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Orange came free, but Tales Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Stefano got free with Edinho Pirani in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elói Maranhense hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani got control of the ball when Alfredo Stefano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Bruno-Henrique Orange quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elói Maranhense, made in the 86th minute of the game. When the match was over Castanheiro SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ throughout the match.
