At last the ball reached Honorato Kauldi at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Zemantauskas FC. 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Chinto came free, but Carlos Augusto Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Chinto took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Augusto Arósio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Morais in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Augusto Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Augusto Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Morais in the 19th minute of the match. Augusto Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Reha Pekel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Kauldi came free, but Carlos Augusto Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zemantauskas FC's zone, Honorato Kauldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 46th minute, Zemantauskas FC's Eugênio Lima seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eugênio Lima the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zemantauskas FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eugênio Lima had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Geovanni Carioca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdi Saksø to make the kick off. Carlos Augusto Arósio made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Genaro Azibar sent off a good shot on target. The Mercedes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Ellande should have stopped the shot. Carlos Augusto Arósio made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ciriaco Chinto sent off a good shot on target. Ferdi Saksø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Zemantauskas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Rossi to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mercedes getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Genaro Azibar hit a great ball. Mercedes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
