Farid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Eriberto Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Farid Mondragón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Nicanor Montxo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farid Mondragón. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Eriberto Miranda took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Farid Mondragón to make any attempt to save it. After 75 played minutes, INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pancho Sá shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Podgoreanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
