Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henry in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja got control of the ball when Sven-Edvin Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 played minutes Kogimyae JK got a freekick which was hit by Olavi Lainevoog. Lennart Merioja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 14th minute. Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zico Zellier in the 14th minute of play. Lennart Merioja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lennart Merioja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lennart Merioja was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven-Edvin Jansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 28 minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Sven-Edvin Jansson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lennart Merioja. Sven-Edvin Jansson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Sven-Edvin Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Lennart Merioja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Merioja saved Kogimyae JK from getting behind. The GuateFortín fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thierry Henry was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Kogimyae JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aare Urm to maneuver through the defense. If Zico Zellier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the game, Thierry Henry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Lennart Merioja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 58 minutes, Angel Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GuateFortín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Angel Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GuateFortín made a substitution. Mario Gomez replaced Thierry Henry. In the 62nd match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Lennart Merioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Gomez in the 67th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Mario Gomez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Lennart Merioja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Gomez in the 79th minute of play forced Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper Lennart Merioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Kogimyae JK defense, Mario Gomez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Merioja. The Kogimyae JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Merioja should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Mario Gomez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Merioja. Kogimyae JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Gomez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Gomez in the 93rd minute of play.
