In the 27th minute Green Squad FC were awarded a corner. Tadeu Cosme went to the cornerflag to take it. Green Squad FC's Tadeu Cosme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Válbson Cunha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Sengrat to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Green Squad FC's zone, Gaspar Urre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilvan Sanches came out of the goal and Gaspar Urre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilvan Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Urre's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 58 minutes, Gervasio Guillerme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the No vino el 5 and the Green Squad FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Gervasio Guillerme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Green Squad FC's Tadeu Cosme shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Válbson Cunha but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Patricio Sengrat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilvan Sanches was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The Green Squad FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 77 minutes into the match, No vino el 5's goalkeeper Válbson Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulisses Antunes. After 77 played minutes No vino el 5 got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Bartoleme. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Sengrat in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Sanches saved Green Squad FC from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Elói Leme got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Amadeo Patrido was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. In the 92nd match minute, No vino el 5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Patrido to maneuver through the defense. Green Squad FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
