The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Donato Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragons AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Adab FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Adab FC's Fryderyk Witwicki got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ciro Tano hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Fryderyk Witwicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Beckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prime Hock in the 17th minute of play forced Adab FC's goalkeeper Abdessalem Abdessalam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jo-Wilfried Schouten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Adab FC's Abdessalem Abdessalam got control of the ball when Jo-Wilfried Schouten tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Dragons AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Derwin came free, but Lorenzo Beckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jo-Wilfried Schouten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Abdessalem Abdessalam made a huge save. When Dragons AFC's Jo-Wilfried Schouten, in the 37th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Dragons AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Isaac Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adab FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Derwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Beckman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Dragons AFC's Prime Hock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdessalem Abdessalam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Lorenzo Beckman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Rogiers in the 52nd minute of play. Adab FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fryderyk Witwicki in the 53rd minute. At last the ball reached Fryderyk Witwicki at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Dragons AFC. 1-1. 64 minutes into the match, Adab FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prime Hock came free, but Abdessalem Abdessalam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prime Hock in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdessalem Abdessalam saved Adab FC from getting behind. Abdessalem Abdessalam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prime Hock in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Prime Hock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragons AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prime Hock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdessalem Abdessalam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo-Wilfried Schouten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Fryderyk Witwicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Beckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Jo-Wilfried Schouten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdessalem Abdessalam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jo-Wilfried Schouten in the 90th minute of the match.
