In the 18th minute of the match, Marco Van Der Taelen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erivaldo Catarinense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. San Ciro Utd's Epifanio Beila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Mcinnes in the 20th minute of play. If Marco Van Der Taelen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neil Mcinnes to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Marco Van Der Taelen managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Mcinnes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Marco Van Der Taelen managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s Dinei Tinoco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gregorio Astigar, made in the 90th minute of the game. Erivaldo Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Van Der Taelen in the 96th minute of the match. San Ciro Utd's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
