Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, BAIRES's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel van Beek came free, but Anibal Cambiasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Albino Oskarbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Cambiasso in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Marciano Cambiasso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Dream Team's Albino Oskarbi. In the 28th match minute, FC Dream Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Macena to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Cambiasso hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jardel van Beek managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dream Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Jardel van Beek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Cambiasso to make the kick off. If Joaquin Cambiasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Cambiasso got free with Albino Oskarbi in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andres Cambiasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Cambiassos short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Albino Oskarbi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anibal Cambiasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Carvalhais in the 71st minute of play. If Renan Demangeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Dream Team's Aldaír Queirós was substituted for Angelo Castanheira. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dream Team's goalkeeper Albino Oskarbi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marciano Cambiasso's late challenge caught a FC Dream Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Cambiasso helped the player get up and apologised. Albino Oskarbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Cambiasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. BAIRES walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
