The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 16th minute, Carlos Bento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute Carlos Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wictor Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Birkenhagen in the 23rd minute of play. Du showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Arne Gustafsson in the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by NDVX's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niclas Hjälm was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kurdish Warriors's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Niclas Hjälm almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but NDVX's Du did a great save. Du made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niclas Hjälm in the 32nd minute. FC Kurdish Warriors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Bento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Du showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Arne Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Niclas Hjälm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Du when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niclas Hjälm made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Birkenhagen got free with Wictor Hagström in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Kurdish Warriors's Wictor Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Bento in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute Carlos Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Sven-Arne Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A wasted opportunity for FC Kurdish Warriors. 84 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Birkenhagen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wictor Hagström, 0-3. Carlos Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Carlos Bento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NDVX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kurdish Warriors the free kick.
