With a little luck, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Feliciano Ayala got control of the ball when Lachezar Dzhevov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo Seber might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jânio Furlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Seber ran back to his position shaking his head. Jânio Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Cichowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Seber scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jânio Furlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Guará FC's Lachezar Dzhevov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Feliciano Ayala. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Jânio Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Rozarius in the 26th minute of play. Raimundo Joey kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Santos de Buenos Aires FC's zone, Ronaldão Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Ayala came out of the goal and Ronaldão Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Cichowski in the 32nd minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Jânio Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Antoni Cichowski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Zé Pedro Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Feliciano Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Danilo Seber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jânio Furlan was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 36 minutes, Danilo Seber made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Guará FC's Jânio Furlan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Guará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Seber came free, but Jânio Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Joey helped the player get up and apologised. Raimundo Joey kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Santos de Buenos Aires FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Joey to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldão Paulista struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Feliciano Ayala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guará FC. Jânio Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Seber in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Guará FC booed when Santos de Buenos Aires FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio James didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Lisandro Sugar was substituted for Raimundo Joey. Teodosio James hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Danilo Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jânio Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Paulista came free, but Feliciano Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Ayala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Tiburcio Lluques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Guará FC's Tiago Gabriel Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliciano Ayala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Despite being the better team, Guará FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
