In the 12th minute Hipolito Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hipolito Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Didi Dionísio made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Teodosio James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Edgar Wahlnäs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Santos de Buenos Aires FC's zone, Zülfü Eygül stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Ayala came out of the goal and Zülfü Eygül tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoni Cichowski got free with Didi Dionísio in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th match minute, Santos de Buenos Aires FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Rozarius to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th match minute, Wonderkids was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolga Eroğul to maneuver through the defense. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Feliciano Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Arjoca in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Normando Patrício hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Seber in the 57th minute of play forced Wonderkids's goalkeeper Didi Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Hipolito Rozarius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Wonderkids were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
