A collision led to RWD Molenbeek getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Inocencio Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. Americo Erlantz might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loris Karius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Americo Erlantz ran back to his position shaking his head. When New York CitY CopS's Americo Erlantz in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. New York CitY CopS were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after RWD Molenbeek's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulises Dominguez took the corner. The throw-in from Alfredão Miranda in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New York CitY CopS's Isac Stoiciu. The supporters of RWD Molenbeek booed when New York CitY CopS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Janko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, RWD Molenbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Miranda to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of RWD Molenbeek booed when New York CitY CopS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in RWD Molenbeek's zone, Americo Erlantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loris Karius came out of the goal and Americo Erlantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's Resul Erdemalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Portillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of RWD Molenbeek booed when New York CitY CopS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Porfirio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Lucas Arce sped through New York CitY CopS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvano Portillo. New York CitY CopS's Ermegildo Itzaina was substituted for Americo Erlantz.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermegildo Itzaina to strike the kick off in the second half. The New York CitY CopS fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when New York CitY CopS's Ermegildo Itzaina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 59 minutes into the game, Alfredão Miranda threw the ball into play from the sideline. New York CitY CopS's Isac Stoiciu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Ermegildo Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Itzaina came free, but Loris Karius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loris Karius came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by New York CitY CopS's Ermegildo Itzaina. But to his dismay, Ermegildo Itzaina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Porfirio in the 70th minute of play. Ermegildo Itzaina scored 4-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loris Karius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. New York CitY CopS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leopoldo Cesaro in the 77th minute. Leopoldo Cesaro made a great header on New York CitY CopS's corner, it was just that RWD Molenbeek's Loris Karius managed to reach the ball for a save. After 79 played minutes RWD Molenbeek got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Miranda. Loris Karius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Itzaina in the 84th minute of the match. Isac Stoiciu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Ermegildo Itzaina put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Loris Karius. 91 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Itzaina came free, but Loris Karius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Alfredão Miranda in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by New York CitY CopS's Isac Stoiciu. Loris Karius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermegildo Itzaina went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Many of RWD Molenbeek's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. RWD Molenbeek may have spent more time on the ball, but New York CitY CopS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
