Billie Serneels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Lindmark in the 16th minute of the match. When Gonzalo Marcones fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentino de Buenos Aires's protests and gave Gonzalo Marcones a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Argentino de Buenos Aires's Gonzalo Marcones got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, BICHO neuquino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Tony Lindmark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Billie Serneels was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Argentino de Buenos Aires's Mario Isusko got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Argentino de Buenos Aires's Billie Serneels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Oxarra in the 26th minute of play. Feliciano Salvatore kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Tony Lindmark managed to get in a good position for a shot. BICHO neuquino's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Lindmark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billie Serneels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31stth minute of the game Leo Oxarra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentino de Buenos Aires's Billie Serneels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Leo Oxarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billie Serneels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmelo Ariando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Isusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Tony Lindmark hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. BICHO neuquino's Carmelo Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Hitz in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Without hesitation aimed to the right of Billie Serneels, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Argentino de Buenos Aires booed when BICHO neuquino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Lindmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Leo Oxarra came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the BICHO neuquino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Oxarra couldn't finish the play. After having played for 62 minutes, Tony Lindmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BICHO neuquino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Lindmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Billie Serneels managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when BICHO neuquino's Leo Oxarra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Tony Lindmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Carmelo Ariando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Argentino de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Billie Serneels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Kinsen. Carmelo Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Hitz in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wieslaw Bartoszek in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Billie Serneels saved Argentino de Buenos Aires from getting behind. After 77 minutes Argentino de Buenos Aires's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elvio Kinsen who took care of the corner kick. The corner led BICHO neuquino's Godofredo Oihan to fire away a dangerous shot which Billie Serneels despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When BICHO neuquino's Godofredo Oihan in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wieslaw Bartoszek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Billie Serneels when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Billie Serneels didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BICHO neuquino's Wieslaw Bartoszek shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 93rd minute Valentin Todor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wieslaw Bartoszek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Argentino de Buenos Aires's Eloy Goren was substituted for Aureliano Domiku. When the final whistle sounded BICHO neuquino left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Argentino de Buenos Aires.
