To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Wanderson Melo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rogelio Ostadar, 3-2. 84 minutes into the match, Gustavo Cresencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Paulo de Azevedo. São Paulo F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Cresencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.
