After a rather tough play, Academia de Campeones's Kermit Froggaard got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Alvito Helguera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia de Campeones's Rodolfo Calvet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nueva Adalucia's Alvito Helguera got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kai Havertz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Larpe Cabrera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai Havertz in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Alvito Helguera notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Academia de Campeones's Rodolfo Calvet. Rodolfo Calvet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvito Helguera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodolfo Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvito Helguera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute of the match Nueva Adalucia got a corner. Academia de Campeones's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ospin Urruti ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Nueva Adalucia's Ospin Urruti to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodolfo Calvet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Alvito Helguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolfo Calvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvito Helguera in the 37th minute of the match. Academia de Campeones's Rodolfo Calvet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvito Helguera in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Academia de Campeones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Bernaldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Alvito Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Miguel Ángel Gambier made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvito Helguera got free with Rodolfo Calvet in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodolfo Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murat Oberlack, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Gambier in the 55th minute of play forced Nueva Adalucia's goalkeeper Larpe Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvito Helguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Calvet having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Alvito Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Calvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvito Helguera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Calvet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 63 minutes into the game, Alvito Helguera lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Rodolfo Calvet. After 68 minutes, Denis Blasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia de Campeones and the Nueva Adalucia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Academia de Campeones got a freekick which was hit by Denis Blasco. Fabian Bernaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Alvito Helguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Calvet having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Kermit Froggaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Larpe Cabrera. Nueva Adalucia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kermit Froggaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Nueva Adalucia's Sol Rajoi was substituted for Murat Oberlack. Academia de Campeones's Rodolfo Calvet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvito Helguera in the 85th minute of play. Larpe Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kermit Froggaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Alvito Helguera struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Rodolfo Calvet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Adalucia. Academia de Campeones made a substitution. Zachariasz Orszak replaced Kermit Froggaard. In the 95th minute, Nueva Adalucia's Jesús Espinosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodolfo Calvet. Rodolfo Calvet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3.
