Ciro Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genílson Diniz in the 12th minute of the match. Isaltino Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Moscatelli having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liang Cai in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdomiro Ferraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute of the match Acilia Town got a corner. Montalcino SE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franco Ucci ran over to the corner to take the kick. Liang Cai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdomiro Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Ciro Moscatelli made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Modesto Atarratze sent off a good shot on target. Acilia Town's Ciro Moscatelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Acilia Town from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Montalcino SE's Ciro Moscatelli threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dino Nicolini, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ciro Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Atarratze in the 37th minute of the match. When Nicolas Espiridion came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Montalcino SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Espiridion couldn't finish the play. Acilia Town's Ciro Moscatelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Figueiredo in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The Acilia Town supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Acilia Town would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
