Spectators: 171 (Terracing: 129, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Cesare Loreto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Negro in the 8th minute of play. Cesare Loreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahim Kornes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Song Wei Yun in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bonelli saved Sorci Viola from getting behind. Armando Bonelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Wei Yun in the 14th minute of play. Armando Bonelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Negro's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Fernando Negro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Armando Bonelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Scatena. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Meo in the 30th minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Rahim Kornes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Seraċini Għawdxin's Song Wei Yun made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Bonelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute Flavio Scatena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahim Kornes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Anfilogino Arpaia put in a rough tackle. 37 minutes into the game, one of Sorci Viola:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Song Wei Yun in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bonelli saved Sorci Viola from getting behind. Armando Bonelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Wei Yun in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46thth minute of the game Song Wei Yun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armando Bonelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Negro in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Song Wei Yun to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Bonelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Negro, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Armando Bonelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Negro in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Negro in the 59th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Scatena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rahim Kornes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Bonelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Song Wei Yun in the 64th minute. When Edoardo Meo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Sorci Viola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edoardo Meo couldn't finish the play. After 68 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Scatena. Armando Bonelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Negro in the 69th minute of play. Rahim Kornes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Meo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Negro in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Bonelli saved Sorci Viola from getting behind. Seraċini Għawdxin's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Griffin in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Rahim Kornes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Bonelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Negro in the 78th minute of play. Rahim Kornes came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Sorci Viola's Edoardo Meo. But to his dismay, Edoardo Meo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Sorci Viola's Armando Bonelli got control of the ball when Fernando Negro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Bonelli made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Song Wei Yun sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when Seraċini Għawdxin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Song Wei Yun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Bonelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Negro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Song Wei Yun got free with Armando Bonelli in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Bonelli acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Miguel Caruana. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
