The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafa Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galo na Veia FC™'s Tiago Gabriel Branco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Patrice Barkholz, made in the 7th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Giuliano Baumann managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1. FC Union Weberei's supporters rose to their feet, but Giuliano Baumann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owain Wollenmann in the 14th minute of play forced Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Horácio Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Patrice Barkholz in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo na Veia FC™'s Tiago Gabriel Branco. Galo na Veia FC™'s Horácio Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuliano Baumann in the 17th minute of play. When Hulk Bolt fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galo na Veia FC™'s protests and gave Hulk Bolt a yellow card for diving instead. Hulk Bolt kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Giuliano Baumann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1. FC Union Weberei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuliano Baumann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafa Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heiner Studer having to make a save. In the 27th minute Rafa Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiner Studer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuliano Baumann in the 29th minute of play forced Galo na Veia FC™'s goalkeeper Horácio Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heiner Studer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Domingues in the 32nd minute of play. When Rafa Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Galo na Veia FC™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Domingues couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, 1. FC Union Weberei's goalkeeper Heiner Studer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa Domingues. After having played for 39 minutes, Rafa Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo na Veia FC™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horácio Donato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

In the 58th minute, Giuliano Baumann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, Galo na Veia FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamen Ringov to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Galo na Veia FC™ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hulk Bolt hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Giuliano Baumann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rafa Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Galo na Veia FC™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Domingues couldn't finish the play. Hulk Bolt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Heiner Studer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lamberto Isler made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Pierucci immediately put the ball in play. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Horácio Donato successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galo na Veia FC™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nino Forster was slow to take the kick. During this time 1. FC Union Weberei's players had a chance to rest. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1. FC Union Weberei's goalkeeper Heiner Studer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafa Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heiner Studer having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Domingues in the 81st minute of play forced 1. FC Union Weberei's goalkeeper Heiner Studer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Pierucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Union Weberei's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
