The supporters of Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC booed when Merengue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Erruki in the 7th minute of play. Darwin Núñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Virgilio Quentin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Godfredo Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Banaszak in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Virgilio Quentin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jeronimo Gaufred managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Gaufred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Godfredo Erruki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Llorienzo was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Erruki came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Gastón Roved to fire away a dangerous shot which Mateo Llorienzo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Virgilio Quentin made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Roland Banaszak sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Domingo Jago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merengue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Jago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Quentin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Frances hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Domingo Jago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Godfredo Erruki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Llorienzo. Merengue FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo Erruki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 41 minutes of play, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Godfredo Erruki made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Llorienzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's goalkeeper Virgilio Quentin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darwin Núñez. Marcos Guillelmus hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Virgilio Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godfredo Erruki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roland Banaszak to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Dimas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Gaufred got free with Mateo Llorienzo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, Domingo Jago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgilio Quentin. In the 69th match minute, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frede Kauffmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Jeronimo Gaufred got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Hector Azeari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Azeari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 96th minute, Darwin Núñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merengue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
