Büyükada Commandos's Gianluca Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Büyükada Commandos from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Paulescu got free with Gianluca Buffon in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Steaua Pildesti were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Büyükada Commandos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Terry Doyle took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Terry Doyle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gianluca Buffon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tang Di Cheng in the 32nd minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Büyükada Commandos's Ronaldinho Gaucho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Văduvescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Büyükada Commandos getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ronaldinho Gaucho hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zygmunt Dunajski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Büyükada Commandos booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Griguță didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes, Ricardo Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Büyükada Commandos and the FC Steaua Pildesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Hüseyin Turan Esay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marian Văduvescu. The goal made the score 0-5. Robert Antohi charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
