The supporters of Unificação booed when FC ZARZECZE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Scholes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenon Trzemzalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Regueira in the 14th minute of play. Zé Paulo Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Zenon Trzemzalski made a huge save. Frazer Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Themistoklis Gounaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Bogdan Udrişte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bogdan Udrişte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frazer Martin having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 23rd minute of play forced Unificação's goalkeeper Frazer Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match FC ZARZECZE got a corner. Unificação's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Themistoklis Gounaris ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Themistoklis Gounaris got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frazer Martin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bogdan Udrişte might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frazer Martin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogdan Udrişte ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonard Kon kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Themistoklis Gounaris managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ZARZECZE's supporters rose to their feet, but Themistoklis Gounaris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frazer Martin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bogdan Udrişte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Unificação getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. André Padilha hit a great ball. But to his dismay, Themistoklis Gounaris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Unificação's Zé Paulo Fernandez got a free kick in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The wind increased when Bogdan Udrişte made the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Udrişte had several of the Unificação's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Frazer Martin as he didn't even see the shot coming.
