Wilton Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernardo Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Vale in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the TAQUARI FC defense, Frank Soto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Salgado. The TAQUARI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Salgado should have stopped the shot. TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Soto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Wilton Vale struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Bernardo Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TAQUARI FC. The corner ended in Bernard Letourneau almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LinuX F.C.'s Bernardo Arias did a great save. The TAQUARI FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LinuX F.C. were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilton Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minor Godinez in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elmer Lozano came free, but Rodolfo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Soto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodolfo Salgado came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Soto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 68th minute. Igor Tinoco lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. TAQUARI FC's Erasmo Gaspar was substituted for Ernani Souto. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TAQUARI FC! TAQUARI FC:s Rodolfo Salgado showed great skill when he stopped Elmer Lozano:s penalty. 75 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elmer Lozano came free, but Rodolfo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pabla Zuniga to maneuver through the defense.
