MORDOMIA's Conrado Antunes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 19 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SleddKnicks IF's Herman Högman fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With 26 minutes on the clock, Ulf Brolin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Otto Smitt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Fausto Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Eric Skog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Délio Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Otto Smitt made a huge save. In the 35th minute Fausto Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SleddKnicks IF's Fausto Ekain in 36 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Sergio Donio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Sergio Donio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Holmberg's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When Celsinho Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MORDOMIA's protests and gave Celsinho Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes MORDOMIA got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Arruda. The MORDOMIA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SleddKnicks IF were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Délio Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. Sergio Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Jönsson in the 52nd minute of play. Börje Salming charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Viana in the 62nd minute of play forced SleddKnicks IF's goalkeeper Otto Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otto Smitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
