Illja Klochko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute José Carlos de Salles managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. When Myroslav Akymenko came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the FC Ruh Lviv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Myroslav Akymenko couldn't finish the play. FC Ruh Lviv's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ruh Lviv's zone, José Carlos de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Barovero came out of the goal and José Carlos de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agron Elmasllari. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Myroslav Akymenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ruh Lviv's supporters rose to their feet, but Myroslav Akymenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Gabriel Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myroslav Akymenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Agron Elmasllari took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Barovero. Marcelo Barovero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chumo Palmero in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Gabriel Cabral saved Vae Victis!! from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agron Elmasllari. Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agron Elmasllari in the 31st minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Myroslav Akymenko in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Măcriș came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Emmanuel Gigliotti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelo Barovero. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Dacian Măcriș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Barovero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Illja Klochko kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. FC Ruh Lviv's Marcelo Barovero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ruh Lviv from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dacian Măcriș made a kick off. Dacian Măcriș scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Barovero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Myroslav Akymenko got free with Tiago Gabriel Cabral in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vae Victis!!'s Horácio Magalhães was substituted for Agron Elmasllari. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Măcriș in the 66th minute of play forced FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Myroslav Akymenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tiago Gabriel Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vae Victis!!'s goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Cabral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiago Gabriel Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myroslav Akymenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ruh Lviv's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vyacheslav Androsenko in the 74th minute. After taking down the ball on FC Ruh Lviv's corner Vyacheslav Androsenko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiago Gabriel Cabral quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Vae Victis!!'s Tiago Gabriel Cabral got control of the ball when Myroslav Akymenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Gabriel Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chumo Palmero in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Myroslav Akymenko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiago Gabriel Cabral. The goal made the score 3-2.
