Benedykt Perkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Radowit Ogrodowicz made a precise shot to the right of Yoto Boshikyov. 12 Monkeys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Erdi Bender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Gorell in the 17th minute of play. Radowit Ogrodowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Erdi Bender had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristoffer Kildeskov. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yan Chen Yan during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Szczakowianka's Yan Chen Yan got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, 12 Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Elequemedo came free, but Yoto Boshikyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yoto Boshikyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Elequemedo in the 42nd minute of play. Yoto Boshikyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Perkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balder Buurskov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Balder Buurskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in 12 Monkeys's zone, Yan Chen Yan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yoto Boshikyov came out of the goal and Yan Chen Yan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristoffer Kildeskov to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Erdi Bender, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save 12 Monkeys from getting a goal against them. Erdi Bender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Kildeskov in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Szczakowianka's Luis Elequemedo in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 12 Monkeys's goalie prevented a goal. 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Elequemedo in the 71st minute of play. Benedykt Perkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Szczakowianka's Teobald Klocko was substituted for Robbin Moreaux. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radowit Ogrodowicz got free with Yoto Boshikyov in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Elequemedo in the 81st minute of play forced 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 Monkeys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Radowit Ogrodowicz scored to the left of an out of position Yoto Boshikyov, making the score, 1-2. After 90 minutes, Therkil Kammesgaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 12 Monkeys and the Szczakowianka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yoto Boshikyov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedykt Perkowski went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Yoto Boshikyov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 97th minute of the match. The 12 Monkeys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Szczakowianka were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
