Mayo were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after AKHisaR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evelio Goren took the corner. In the 8th minute, Gonzalo Montiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egemen Toralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idacio Ballejos in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Mayo were awarded a corner. Evelio Goren went to the cornerflag to take it. Erol Özyurek kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Ballejos came free, but Egemen Toralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harri Kaine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egemen Toralp having to interfere. In the 25th minute Idacio Ballejos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egemen Toralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AKHisaR fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when AKHisaR's Ramazan Afacan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Egemen Toralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Idacio Ballejos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Idacio Ballejos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egemen Toralp was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Idacio Ballejos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egemen Toralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Idacio Ballejos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egemen Toralp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Idacio Ballejos went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Idacio Ballejos made the kick off in the second half. When Mayo's Idacio Ballejos in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AKHisaR's goalie prevented a goal. Egemen Toralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idacio Ballejos in the 53rd minute of the match. Idacio Ballejos scored 1-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egemen Toralp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute Idacio Ballejos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egemen Toralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harri Kaine struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Egemen Toralp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayo. AKHisaR's Egemen Toralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idacio Ballejos in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Idacio Ballejos in the 61st minute of play forced AKHisaR's goalkeeper Egemen Toralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Ramazan Afacan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Deacon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Idacio Ballejos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egemen Toralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idacio Ballejos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egemen Toralp having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goalkeeper Egemen Toralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Idacio Ballejos. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKHisaR's goalkeeper Egemen Toralp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mayo's William Symons got a free kick in the 70th minute. Mayo made a substitution. Steve Oliver replaced Evelio Goren. Mayo's Romulo Loiola was substituted for Harri Kaine. A collision led to Mayo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. William Symons hit a great ball. Steve Oliver took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egemen Toralp. Egemen Toralp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After 78th play minutes Idacio Ballejos shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Egemen Toralp and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Idacio Ballejos took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Egemen Toralp to make any attempt to save it. When Mayo's Idacio Ballejos in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AKHisaR's goalie prevented a goal. AKHisaR's Egemen Toralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idacio Ballejos in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AKHisaR's zone, Johnnie Osbourn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egemen Toralp came out of the goal and Johnnie Osbourn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of AKHisaR booed when Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mayo's Marcus Deacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramazan Afacan in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes, Steve Oliver made it 1-7 with a short kick to the right side. AKHisaR's Egemen Toralp tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The AKHisaR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mayo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
