The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Käcker in the 3rd minute of play. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Bernard having to interfere. Cirilo Bernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy van der Aa, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Bernt Finnman came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the GrassNuts FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Finnman couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Hedkvist in the 15th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Club Atlético La Vía got a freekick which was hit by Kang Kun Ming. In the 20th minute, GrassNuts FC's Verner Wahlnäs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Echeverri, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Alfred Pilarczyk charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Pilarczyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GrassNuts FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alfred Pilarczyk hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jouni Markkula during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético La Vía booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jouni Markkula didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Club Atlético La Vía getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Michel Hedkvist hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lennart Käcker to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Käcker in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Su Peng Jian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute Claudio Echeverri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Club Atlético La Vía's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Wahlnäs came free, but Cirilo Bernard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Su Peng Jian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennart Käcker in the 65th minute. Cirilo Bernard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Finnman in the 66th minute of the match. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Echeverri came free, but Su Peng Jian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
