Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Stat Veritas FC's Francisco Segio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Codruț Hanganu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Dantae in the 9th minute of play. After 12 minutes Stat Veritas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Berbiz who took care of the corner kick. Francisco Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Hanganu having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Stat Veritas FC's Francisco Segio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Codruț Hanganu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Codruț Hanganu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Segio in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg Mauricio Erramun managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s He Gang Jian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mauricio Erramun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Codruț Hanganu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Segio in the 41st minute of play. After 44 minutes, Francisco Segio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stat Veritas FC and the White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Francisco Segio hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. He Gang Jian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Mauricio Erramun made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, Stat Veritas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Haimar came free, but Mauricio Erramun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Astor Haimar was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Fernando Dantae in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s He Gang Jian. Stat Veritas FC's Adolfo Fresco was substituted for Fernando Dantae. Stat Veritas FC's Roger Gili was substituted for Pepe Argento. In the 61st match minute, Stat Veritas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Gelin to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Stat Veritas FC's goal looked a bit too open when He Gang Jian came free, but Mauricio Erramun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codruț Hanganu made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ziemowit Dembowski sent off a good shot on target. Ziemowit Dembowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Codruț Hanganu made a huge save. Johan Gelin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Adolfo Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Hanganu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Stat Veritas FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stat Veritas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
