Herminio Camerino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Itajaí Football Club's Beto Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Itajaí Football Club from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Beto Teixeira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When CA Twister Rodríguez's Gonzalo Ramond, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for CA Twister Rodríguez. CA Twister Rodríguez's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Claude was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beto Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when 秦青斌 came free, but Beto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Li Wen Mo couldn't finish the play. Itajaí Football Club made a substitution. Li Wen Mo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Camerino having to interfere. Itajaí Football Club's Li Wen Mo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Li Wen Mo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Gilberto Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itajaí Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
