Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ingemar Jonasson got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Granberg in the 6th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Gösta Granberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VfL Wolfsburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anders Andersson in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Holm got free with Olle Tunander in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingemar Jonasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olle Tunander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Holm. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper, Olle Tunander, was totally fooled by Oakcroft Thrashers's Ingemar Jonasson, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Granberg in the 30th minute of play. Harry Ekeberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Anders Andersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Olle Tunander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 35 minutes of play, Oakcroft Thrashers's Jörn Holm made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olle Tunander was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Ingemar Jonasson put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Olle Tunander. When Oakcroft Thrashers's Ingemar Jonasson in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VfL Wolfsburg's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Granberg in the 51st minute of play. Ingemar Jonasson took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olle Tunander. Olle Tunander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Oakcroft Thrashers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harry Ekeberg in the 61st minute. If Jörn Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Albom. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Andersson in the 84th minute of play. Olle Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Holm, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute Anders Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marciano Egun fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VfL Wolfsburg's protests and gave Marciano Egun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Marciano Egun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Harry Ekeberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Ekeberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olle Tunander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
