Ertuğrul Rasi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, Gösta Granberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VfL Wolfsburg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ertuğrul Rasi was a little too slow when Hannes Ström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Granberg in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ertuğrul Rasi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, VfL Wolfsburg's Hannes Ström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. Ertuğrul Rasi made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Hannes Ström sent off a good shot on target. Levent İnanır hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ertuğrul Rasi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Granberg's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Bertil Fanström made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Martin Hedlund however managed to control. A collision led to ÇALIMLI getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Zülfü Dicle hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, one of ÇALIMLI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ÇALIMLI. The goalkeeper, Ertuğrul Rasi, was totally fooled by VfL Wolfsburg's Gösta Granberg, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hannes Ström to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Hannes Ström made a precise shot to the right of Ertuğrul Rasi. In the 79th minute, Hannes Ström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ertuğrul Rasi was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. In the 83rd minute Hannes Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ertuğrul Rasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, ÇALIMLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doğan Zakir to maneuver through the defense. After 87 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ÇALIMLI and the VfL Wolfsburg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of VfL Wolfsburg booed when ÇALIMLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hannes Ström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ertuğrul Rasi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ÇALIMLI's Sungurbey Secavend got a free kick in the 95th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Ström in the 98th minute of play forced ÇALIMLI's goalkeeper Ertuğrul Rasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
