The Xandeco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ferrán Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Norino Zuasnabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Xandeco FC's Edmund Balkiewicz in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.D. Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Hernánde Arrué in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Xandeco FC's Luiz Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferrán Suarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Rafael Ojeda in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Xandeco FC's Hugo Vander. Guga de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Hernánde Arrué's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Edmund Balkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrán Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Nóbrega's late challenge caught a C.D. Pepino’s's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.D. Pepino’s booed when Xandeco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Hernánde Arrué sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 31 played minutes C.D. Pepino’s got a freekick which was hit by Paco Camarasa. When Rafael Ojeda fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. Pepino’s's protests and gave Rafael Ojeda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Rafael Ojeda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmund Balkiewicz scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferrán Suarez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Xandeco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Hernánde Arrué came free, but Guga de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Xandeco FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, C.D. Pepino’s's Teofilo Aliste got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Guga de Azevedo. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 60 played minutes C.D. Pepino’s got a freekick which was hit by Paco Camarasa. Guga de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Hernánde Arrué in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xandeco FC's Hugo Vander got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Miguel Hernánde Arrué recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guga de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Hernánde Arrué, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Edmund Balkiewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Ferrán Suarez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guga de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Hernánde Arrué in the 77th minute of the match. Miguel Hernánde Arrué sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Xandeco FC's Hugo Vander got a free kick in the 81st minute. Xandeco FC's Dino Amorim was substituted for Luiz Torres. Hugo Vander hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Hernánde Arrué in the 83rd minute of play forced Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Guga de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferrán Suarez made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Nicolas Nóbrega sent off a good shot on target. Ferrán Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Luzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Balkiewicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferrán Suarez came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmund Balkiewicz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 89th minute. Xandeco FC's Geraldo Palmeira was substituted for Antônio Martins. C.D. Pepino’s's Miguel Hernánde Arrué got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferrán Suarez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmund Balkiewicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 97 minute of play. Xandeco FC played a much better game than C.D. Pepino’s and deserved their victory. The C.D. Pepino’s players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
