The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Eloy Alvarez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Daniel Sbârcea. Daniel Sbârcea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Sbârcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Alvarez in the 6th minute of play. Fernando Manzano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Bernad having to interfere. Ismael Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Cabezon in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Cipriano Belarmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sbârcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Sbârcea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Fernando Manzano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Moises Gombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Sbârcea. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Gombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 36 minutes into the game, Cristian Raulo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Fernando Manzano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 41 played minutes Orihuela Club de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Martin Belezhkov. FMArgentina's Humberto Cisco got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Don Cabezon made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FMArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Manzano came free, but Ismael Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FMArgentina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Humberto Cisco in the 56th minute. 0-3 became the score in the 58th minute when Eloy Alvarez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Júlio Britto was substituted for Noel Travassos. Ismael Bernad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Manzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Manzano in the 72nd minute of play forced FMArgentina's goalkeeper Ismael Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Nicolás Grau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Don Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Don Cabezon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Bernad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Daniel Sbârcea got control of the ball when Eloy Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Sbârcea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Alvarez in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Gombal in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Sbârcea saved Orihuela Club de Fútbol from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Júlio Britto got a free kick in the 89th minute. Daniel Sbârcea made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Humberto Cisco sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rdth minute of the game Fernando Manzano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FMArgentina's Ismael Bernad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Don Cabezon's late challenge caught a FMArgentina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Don Cabezon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Orihuela Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Cabezon to maneuver through the defense.
