Batalionul U23 Dorobanti:s Igor Kelemen showed great skill when he stopped Paulo Theobald:s penalty. 15 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Palmkvist came free, but Igor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Silvio Poz in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Tauro Doro. 21 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Jacindo came free, but Igor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Brask got free with István Détári in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Tauro Doro. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buenos y Malos Ayres's goalkeeper István Détári, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igor Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Theobald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Silvio Poz fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buenos y Malos Ayres's protests and gave Silvio Poz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Silvio Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Theobald in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Beltran came free, but Igor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Wagner Doro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Buenos y Malos Ayres's Waclaw Siwy was substituted for Qu Jian Qi. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Michael Brask made a kick off. The supporters of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti booed when Buenos y Malos Ayres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo van der Struijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Beltran got free with Igor Kelemen in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute Paulo Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvio Poz was slow to take the kick. During this time Buenos y Malos Ayres's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Su Zhen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Igor Kelemen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 75th minute, Wagner Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Beltran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Igor Kelemen made a huge save. In the 81st minute of the match Buenos y Malos Ayres got a corner. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvio Poz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonatan Palmkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Igor Kelemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. István Détári showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Karl-Michael Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Détári saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Mugur Bejan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite being the better team, Buenos y Malos Ayres failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
