An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Tunström in the 3rd minute of play forced Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Latif Al Fakir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Hagi came free, but Magne Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Latif Al Fakir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Tunström in the 6th minute. Per Tunström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Latif Al Fakir made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Hagi in the 10th minute of play forced Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rönnöfors FF's Wiktor Dahlman got a free kick in the 11th minute. Latif Al Fakir had great luck who in the 13thth minute grab hold of the ball when Henry Fagerberg from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Magne Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Oltean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Cristiano Hagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Latif Al Fakir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 21st minute of the match. If Per Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Hagi in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
