A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Manuel Roukeloes with Jason Asselberghs as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gavino Raymundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Molina, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Young Ostend United's Stanny Van Gorp got control of the ball when Teofil Sobczak tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Teofil Sobczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofil Sobczak got free with Stanny Van Gorp in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's Teofil Sobczak suffered a concussion in the 32nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Alain Wans charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After the first half Young Ostend United were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Sobczak in the 81st minute of play forced Young Ostend United's goalkeeper Stanny Van Gorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romário Molina in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Raymundo saved ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】 from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Asselberghs came free, but Gavino Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanny Van Gorp came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】's Teofil Sobczak. But to his dismay, Teofil Sobczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. 96 minutes into the match, Young Ostend United's goal looked a bit too open when Teofil Sobczak came free, but Stanny Van Gorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Young Ostend United booed when ≮王者归来≯ 致青春【KICKER】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Bäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Young Ostend United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
