AZURDUY F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jörgen Lossmann ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Tagasihoidlikud Ülbikud's Jörgen Lossmann to fire away a dangerous shot which Teodosio Iigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The referee showed Manuel Valerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
