Luganeros AFC made a substitution. Yu Quan Di replaced Ricardo Oinaz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yu Quan Di to make the kick off. Valdemar de Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Gabriel Porfiro made a huge save. 95 minutes into the game, Brecht Ablij was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luganeros AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio 20 Julho the free kick. Brecht Ablij hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Luganeros AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
