Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Marco Jazz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute of the game Marnix De Vorster made a throw-in which Maxwell van Beek played forward. 4 minutes into the game, Jazz's Marco Jazz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eddy Stoorms made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marco Jazz might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eddy Stoorms. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Jazz ran back to his position shaking his head. Invictus FC's Eddy Stoorms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Jazz in the 7th minute of play. Marco Jazz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eddy Stoorms showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Jazz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jazz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Rafet Şikel shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A sloppy throw-in by Marnix De Vorster in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jazz's Pitin Gonca. When Jazz's Marco Jazz in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Invictus FC's goalie prevented a goal. Eddy Stoorms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Jazz in the 30th minute of play. Sean Mallecots struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Andrea Bolognesi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Invictus FC. After some careless play in the Invictus FC defense, Marco Jazz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eddy Stoorms. The Invictus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eddy Stoorms should have stopped the shot. Invictus FC's Eddy Stoorms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Jazz in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Vittorio Mazzoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Stoorms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sean Mallecots made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Jazz came free, but Eddy Stoorms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jazz's zone, Sean Mallecots stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrea Bolognesi came out of the goal and Sean Mallecots tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jazz's Aldo Pani was substituted for Mai Yang Yan. Jazz's Nae Preda was substituted for Vittorio Mazzoni. Eddy Stoorms made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Nae Preda sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Sean Mallecots left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Invictus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nae Preda got free with Eddy Stoorms in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Lundgren in the 80th minute of play forced Jazz's goalkeeper Andrea Bolognesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Sean Mallecots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Bolognesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Sean Mallecots got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Invictus FC's Octaaf Van der Meiren was substituted for Alexander Hendrickx. Andrea Bolognesi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Mallecots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jazz's Marco Jazz in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Invictus FC's goalie prevented a goal. Eddy Stoorms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Jazz in the 94th minute of the match. Invictus FC's Eddy Stoorms proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Invictus FC from getting a goal against them. The Jazz supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jazz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
