When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Cris Batistuta sped through Japy Man's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisito Salvino. Bartolo Cuarto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Tadej Pogačar made a huge save. After 31st play minutes Alessandro Queirós shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Luisito Salvino and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Japy Man's Darman Ardiansyah got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tadej Pogačar. Răzvan Ghionaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Luisito Salvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
