Misericordia EC's Léo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Frankowski in the 11th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Stal Rzeszów's Léo Leão threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roy Offendahl, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Stal Rzeszów getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Diederik Van den Plas hit a great ball. Dário Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Frankowski came free, but Léo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasz Frankowski did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Léo Leão 30 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Ceferino Odol in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Izydor Pietrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Tinoco in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Tinoco in the 45th minute of play forced Stal Rzeszów's goalkeeper Izydor Pietrasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jeremias Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. The corner ended in Zico Maravilha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stal Rzeszów's Izydor Pietrasz did a great save. Faustão Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izydor Pietrasz having to interfere. In the 89th minute Marek Bialakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute Stal Rzeszów were awarded a corner. Rafael Quiroga went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Stal Rzeszów's Rafael Quiroga to fire away a dangerous shot which Léo Leão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stal Rzeszów had won after a very even match.
