An unexpectedly hard shot by Wen Yin Zhen in the 22nd minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Gio Elshot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Anakoz Amer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gio Elshot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Anakoz Amer came free, but Gio Elshot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Gio Elshot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luizão Alagoano. Birmingham Railers FC's Betinho de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jyrki Kujanpää in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Alagoano in the 42nd minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Gio Elshot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anakoz Amer in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gio Elshot saved SV Balverliefd from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Gio Elshot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Önder Aksakal. Gio Elshot made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Luizão Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Betinho de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jyrki Kujanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gio Elshot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Önder Aksakal in the 59th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Birmingham Railers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Gudmundsson came free, but Betinho de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Jyrki Kujanpää managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Balverliefd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jyrki Kujanpää was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gio Elshot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anakoz Amer, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Gio Elshot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wen Yin Zhen went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betinho de Azevedo saved Birmingham Railers FC from getting behind. When Anakoz Amer fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Birmingham Railers FC's protests and gave Anakoz Amer a yellow card for diving instead. Anakoz Amer kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. SV Balverliefd made a substitution. Steven Homan replaced Aykutalp Tecelli. A collision led to Birmingham Railers FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Anakoz Amer hit a great ball. With a little luck, Birmingham Railers FC's Betinho de Azevedo got control of the ball when Steven Homan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birmingham Railers FC's Betinho de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Birmingham Railers FC's goalkeeper Betinho de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgil Lindelöf. Gio Elshot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gio Elshot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wen Yin Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th match minute, Birmingham Railers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. Birmingham Railers FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SV Balverliefd for a fine match.
