Rune Söder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Massa in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Kléberson Loureiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Söder. Firma Barnängen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléberson Loureiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo Prado in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Söder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Firma Barnängen's Rune Söder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Talavera in the 39th minute of play. Ingvar Kollberg hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Weverton Pras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Alcaraz. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Olsson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Olsson in the 58th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Weverton Pras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Firma Barnängen's Mark Olsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Weverton Pras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Leon Sport Club made a substitution. Wesley Sønck replaced Jon Loarte. The supporters of Firma Barnängen booed when Leon Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldas Balūzis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Mark Olsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Humberto Alcaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Sport Club's Davi Alexandridis was substituted for Giovanni Massa. Weverton Pras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Alcaraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Leon Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Mark Olsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mark Olsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Weverton Pras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Pedro Pepe hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Firma Barnängen defense, Davi Alexandridis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Söder. The Firma Barnängen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Söder should have stopped the shot. Ingvar Kollberg hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to Firma Barnängen getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Harry Andreasson hit a great ball. Kléberson Loureiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rune Söder. Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leon Sport Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
