The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Åke Stolpe got free with Clemente Savier in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute Nestor Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Marcelo Salas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santiago Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Salas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Clemente Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leovigildo Abumohor in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gabriel Olivar hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Åke Stolpe got free with Clemente Savier in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Bresikas getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Paulino Bero hit a great ball. Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubarna Marcos in the 30th minute of play. Santiago Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Salas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes, Marcelo Salas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Salas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Santiago Cordarell made a huge save. Marcelo Salass short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Santiago Cordarell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Santiago Cordarell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Salas in the 63rd minute. Cristopher Damian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santiago Cordarell having to make a save. Marcelo Salas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Santiago Cordarell made a huge save. After having played for 75 minutes, Marcelo Salas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Salas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Cordarell was a little too slow when Marcelo Salas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-2. The Bresikas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
