After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Joaquim de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. VB-Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Cordarell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute Nestor Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bresikas getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Paulino Bero hit a great ball. Santiago Cordarell came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros. But to his dismay, Joaquim de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Joaquim de Barros didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 20th minute. VB-Team's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 22 minutes into the game, Joaquim de Barros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Cordarell. Joaquim de Barros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Joaquim de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Santiago Cordarell made a huge save. Santiago Cordarell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell got control of the ball when Joaquim de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Joaquim de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Santiago Cordarell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match, Luís Caeiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santiago Cordarell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner ended in Shao Kun Yuan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell did a great save. In the 41st minute, Joaquim de Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santiago Cordarell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Santiago Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Joaquim de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Santiago Cordarell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 55 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Santiago Cordarell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Bero to maneuver through the defense. If Joaquim de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 66th minute of play. Santiago Cordarell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gervásio Severiano's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. VB-Team made a substitution. Traian Hăvârneanu replaced Luís Caeiro. The corner ended in Gervásio Severiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bresikas's Santiago Cordarell did a great save. In the 72nd minute, Joaquim de Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Cordarell was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Santiago Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 80th minute of play. Santiago Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Joaquim de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VB-Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, Joaquim de Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in VB-Team's zone, Karl-Åke Stolpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Stolpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. VB-Team were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bresikas for a fine match.
