Ronny Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 20th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Denílson Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronny Westerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save ADM Taquaras from getting a goal against them. In the 31st match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. Denílson Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronny Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 33rd minute of the match. Eric Pettersson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The ADM Taquaras fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when ADM Taquaras's Denílson Tepedino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cesar Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ronny Westerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Denílson Tepedino made the kick off in the second half. Denílson Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ronny Westerberg made a huge save. Ronny Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 54th minute of play. Cesar Quinto scored 0-6 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronny Westerberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Ronny Westerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denílson Tepedino. Ronny Westerberg made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Denílson Tepedino sent off a good shot on target. If Denílson Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeremias Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Meck, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Meck in the 78th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Westerberg made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Denílson Tepedino sent off a good shot on target. Mårten Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Ronny Westerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronny Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Áron Bódog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ADM Taquaras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ADM Taquaras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
