After the first half Llavallol FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A sloppy throw-in by Nicolas Merexildo in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AA Bełchatów's 忠 杨浩云. With an all-out effort, Llavallol FC's Leonard Rosen threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Maxin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 69 minutes into the match, AA Bełchatów's Vitinho de Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustin Orion narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
