Gustavo Estevon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costin Stănculescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Costin Stănculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Constancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gică Tapalagă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Justo Izotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Gică Tapalagă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Adevarul Pur fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Adevarul Pur's Eduard Şuteu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd minute, Gică Tapalagă made a precise shot to the right of Justo Izotz. Herrier's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gică Tapalagă took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justo Izotz. Justo Izotz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 43rd minute, Petruț Iuzbașa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costin Stănculescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Endira in the 44th minute. Justo Izotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Şuteu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, Herrier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute Mihăiţă Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

56 minutes into the match, Adevarul Pur's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Lucero came free, but Costin Stănculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Şuteu didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-4 via right post in the game's 59th minute. Adevarul Pur's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 65th match minute, Adevarul Pur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Penescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match, Iustinian Focșa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Justo Izotz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Justo Izotz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Călimanescu went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Herrier's Justo Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Tapalagă in the 79th minute of play. Eduard Şuteu struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Justo Izotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adevarul Pur. In the 86thth minute of the game Santiago Endira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adevarul Pur's Costin Stănculescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Adevarul Pur supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Adevarul Pur would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
